2019 is 100 years since the first Kenilworth Show was staged. The 1920 show was visited by intrepid travellers who drove their motor vehicles from Nambour and Tewantin. A century after the first show the “Motor Trip to the Show” will be re-enacted by vehicles of the era. As well as National Rodeo Assn events, show jumping and other horse events, the show also provides the entertaining spectacle of woodchopping, chain saw ripping, pig racing and sideshows. There will be ample competition in the cooking, horticultural, sewing and craft competitions on display in the Hall. 2019 Show and Roadeo will be held on Saturday, September 21 beginning at 9am until late which includes fireworks and musical entertainment.
