Describe yourself in 25 words or less:

I speak fluent sarcasm and weirdness! I love to take photos of people, and share their story. I love writing, and most, I am a voracious reader!

Why did you choose to study on the Sunshine Coast?

3 reasons:
- My family is here.
- Affordable and laid-back lifestyle.
- Great quality education system.

What do you love about studying on the Sunshine Coast?

The Sunshine Coast has it all - beautiful community, great beaches, amazing adventure parks, and most, great-quality lifestyle.

What do you love most about your educational institution?

USC is very diverse! And it strives to provide excellent service to their students. The support I am getting from the university is overwhelming, that even on my first semester, I didn’t feel stranger at all.

Name your favourite spot to visit on the Sunshine Coast and why?

Mooloolaba and Coolum, and of-course Nambour.

Nambour may have a bad image to some locals here in the Sunshine Coast, however it is not to me. I’ve lived here since I arrived, and I absolutely love the vintage-feels of the town! And mostly, the rent here is very affordable. I actually live where everything I need is just a walking-distance away!

Mooloolaba and Alex Heads - I love how nostalgic Mooloolaba is. I usually go there for a jog or for a quick dip in the ocean. I have my favourite restaurants and coffee shops within the Esplanade.

Coolum is another beautiful town in Sunshine Coast, that even a photo or a video of the beach there doesn’t justify the beauty of Coolum.

Do you have any advice to other students thinking of studying on the Sunshine Coast?

Go out, explore, and enjoy the Sunshine Coast. You don’t necessarily have to have money to experience the beauties of the Sunshine Coast- beaches and mountain parks are free!!! And if you just know where to look, or shall I say, don’t be scared to be involved. Or to ask- the beautiful community of the Sunshine Coast is always willing to give you a hand.

What do you want to do when you complete your study (career aspirations)?

I want to find a job here in Australia, or open up a business of my own here. Maybe in the Sunshine Coast?

If you could be one Australian animal what would it be and why?

Koala!!! I totally can relate to Koalas - eat, then sleep, REPEAT!

Do you have a favourite saying / phrase that motivates you to study / succeed in life?

“Chance encounters are what keep us going”

Why did you choose to become a Study Sunshine Coast Student Ambassador?

There are so many beautiful things around the Sunshine Coast that have to be shown off. And for me to be heard, or seen- being the sunshine coast student ambassador is a great step to take. This gives me an opportunity to explore the sunshine coast, and share my experiences to people, not just from here, but also from my home country.

Is there anything else we need to know about you?

I have a 5-year old son who loves to be a vlogger! And while he was here last year, he was vlogging all the place he had been, I just never had a chance to share it! ☺ He’s going to be like me, definitely!
