- Why did I join the ambassador Program?
What excites me most about the Ambassador Program is the opportunity to showcase the incredible lifestyle here on the Sunshine Coast. There’s something truly special about starting the day with a sunrise at the beach, grabbing a coffee, and even squeezing in a quick swim before heading to uni. The balance between study and enjoying the outdoors is fantastic, and I’d love to share this unique experience with new students. I’m eager to help others feel at home, connect with people from all over the world, and highlight everything that makes studying here so unique—from the welcoming community to the relaxed, vibrant atmosphere.
- Why do I love the Sunshine Coast and recommend the Sunshine Coast as a study destination and holiday destination to my family and friends?
The Sunshine Coast is an incredible place to study, and I highly recommend it to family and friends. What stands out most is the strong sense of community. There are plenty of free, welcoming social clubs that make meeting new people easy. I’ve made great friends through running clubs and social ocean swims, and I love how open and friendly everyone is, no matter where you’re from.
Beyond university life, the Sunshine Coast offers breathtaking natural beauty, from stunning beaches to national parks and waterfalls. Whether it’s hiking Mount Coolum, swimming at Kondalilla Falls, or exploring Noosa National Park, there’s always something to do.
The study-life balance here is unmatched. Unlike busier cities with long commutes and crowded campuses, you can quickly switch from lectures to the beach or a national park. The smaller university community makes it easier to connect, and with so many outdoor activities, staying active and making friends is effortless. The relaxed pace of life allows students to focus on their studies while enjoying an amazing social life. —something that’s hard to find anywhere else.
