Build practical skills for studying, living and working across cultures. Employers are looking for these skills….upgrade your CV in one evening!

This workshop is designed for students preparing for work in global environments. It focuses on how cultural awareness translates into real-world behaviour, decision-making and communication.

You’ll work through interactive activities, hear from guest speakers, and apply your learning in simulated scenarios. The session also contributes to a recognised micro-credential you can use on your CV and LinkedIn.

What you’ll gain:

  • A clear understanding of Australia’s multicultural context and diversity
  • Practical strategies for working across cultures in study and professional settings
  • Awareness of unconscious bias and inclusive practice
  • Knowledge of key human rights and anti-discrimination frameworks
  • A structured way to reflect on your own cultural perspective

This is less about theory, more about how you operate in diverse environments.

All participants who complete the program will receive a Cultural Competency micro-credential certificate and LinkedIn badge.

Spots are limited. Reserve your place here https://events.humanitix.com/cultural-competency-micro-credential

This event is fully funded by Study Queensland, Sunshine Coast Council and Study Sunshine Coast and is free to all students studying on the Sunshine Coast.
