Welcoming the World to the Sunshine Coast

Study Sunshine Coast was delighted to host 25 leading international education agents as part of the biennial EQI Agent FAM Tour, coordinated by Education Queensland International.

Representing countries across Europe, Latin America, and Asia—including Chile, Spain, Brazil, Vietnam, South Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Cambodia, Czech Republic, and Latin America—agents explored Queensland’s education offering, with the Sunshine Coast proudly showcased as part of the tour.

Program Manager Shannara Goddard shared an overview of the Sunshine Coast’s education landscape and Study Sunshine Coast’s programs available to students across our region.

The networking dinner was a great chance to connect with agents and give them a genuine feel for what the Sunshine Coast offers students—both in and out of the classroom. A standout moment was a presentation by Anita Moore – the Community Education Manager from Alex Surf Club, who spoke about the local lifestyle and how the community supports international students.

A big thank you to EQI for organising this important initiative, and to the EQI recruitment team, pathway partners, and agents who made it such a success.

“The Sunshine Coast dinner was a standout highlight. Agents left with a greater appreciation for the region’s educational excellence and lifestyle offerings—critical insights they’ll take back to their students worldwide.” – Vivian IP, EQI

We look forward to continuing to welcome the world to the Sunshine Coast.
