Montville State School is situated high in the Blackall Ranges, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The school is situated in the main street of Montville village. The school was founded in 1896 and with the introduction of the Prep year in 2006 offers quality education for Prep to Year 6 for approximately 100 students. Montville State School is a community school that encourages open and effective communication among teaching staff, students and parents.The school offers a diverse curriculum that covers all key learning areas as well as specialised subjects such as japanese, music and instrumental music. The school also has a comprehensive physical education program and provides religious education.
