Describe yourself in 25 words or less:

I am a 15 year old school student who loves playing sport including soccer, rugby 7’s, lifesaving, going to the beach on weekends with friends and surfing whenever I can.

What do you love about studying on the Sunshine Coast?

I go to a great school where I am provided with lots of opportunities to learn and develop as a high school student. I am also surrounded by multiple universities where I can continue studying after school in my chosen field, without having to leave home.

What do you love most about your school?

I love the positive learning environment provided by my school and also the connections made between students from not only our school community but from surrounding schools as well.

Name your favourite spot to visit on the Sunshine Coast and why?

Kings Beach because I have been doing nippers at the lifesaving club there since I was 5 years old and continued all the way through to now being a volunteer lifesaver. I love Kings Beach the most because it is so beautiful and I have some of my happiest childhood memories there.

Do you have any advice to other students thinking of studying on the Sunshine Coast?

It is an amazing destination with loads of opportunities for students of all interests and abilities. It is the perfect mix of city and surf with the facilities to support academic, sporting or cultural activities of your choice.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I have always wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember.

What do you want to do when you complete your study (career aspirations)?

I am looking to become a Surgical Oncologist.

If you could be one Australian animal what would it be and why?

A whale because they get to swim all around the world and it makes everyone happy when they are spotted surfacing.

Why did you choose to become a Study Sunshine Coast Student Ambassador?

Because I think it’s a great idea to let people know of the incredible diversity of choices available when looking to study on the Sunshine Coast.
