The Coding and Innovation Hub at Mountain Creek State High School and QSITE – Sunshine Coast Network, are running a Dig Tech Skills Expo on Monday, 18th January 2021. The Skills Expo will be held on–campus at Mountain Creek State High School on the Sunshine Coast (near Mooloolaba).
This event will be suitable for both Primary and Secondary teachers, as well as preservice teachers currently in their final year and starting teaching in 2021.he Expo will include limited positions in workshops and a list of workshops on offer can be found here.
Accommodation Subsidy for Remote Area Teachers – provided through a grant from Google Australia:
To facilitate attendance by remote area teachers, we have available a limited number of accommodation subsidies. The subsidy totals $200 and is limited to those QLD teachers who will be teaching in 2021 at DET schools with a remote area points allocation of 4 or higher, or at a non-government school where the nearest DET school has one of those ratings.
