Study Sunshine Coast (SSC) was delighted to recently host an EduTourism Workshop at TAFE Queensland Mooloolaba Campus. The workshop run by Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and Study Queensland guided local industry in developing quality study tour and edutourism programs.
The interactive workshop was attended by SSC Industry Members, local education providers and Visit Sunshine Coast and local tourism operators. Participants used the Queensland Study Tour and Edutourism Toolkit as a resource throughout the session.
Sharing the content in this Toolkit in a face to face workshop highlighted examples of successful edutourism programs and offered participants practical guidance for best practice program development and delivery, as well as providing opportunities for collaboration between the sectors at the regional level.
