Sunshine Coast students in need

There was a reason for a number of Sunshine Coast students to smile today with another food delivery from local food rescue organisation OzHarvest. Study Sunshine Coast and OzHarvest have been working together during the COVID-19 crisis to provide fresh fruit and vegetable to vulnerable students who are struggling to make ends meet during this challenging time.

Local students in need can also access local community food services during the COVID-19 crisis. These are open to anyone in need and are all free or low-cost. Students are encouraged to utilise these services, no bookings required, just attend at the open times. Find out more about days, times and location of the Community Food Services available on the Sunshine Coast.

Students from USC, TAFE Queensland, Mindroom and Lexis English received the produce today. For local students that need to access regular food deliveries services, please contact your respective Education Institution.

TAFE Queensland Sunshine Coast – please email intss.eastcoast@tafe.qld.edu.au. Students are encouraged to write ‘Support for International Students’ in the email subject line.

USC Sunshine Coast – students to contact student wellbeing for more details studentwellbeing@usc.edu.au or phone 54 30 1226.
