Sunshine Beach State School has been opened since 1982 and throughout this time they have created a successful school that has a strong focus on developing each learner in a challenging yet supportive environment. The school has undertaken a thorough accreditation process with the William Glasser Institute and as a result has achieved the ‘Quality School’ status, being Australia’s first accredited school. This accreditation examined and assured Sunshine Beach State School has in place a quality curriculum, quality teaching and quality relationships amongst staff, learners and the school community.
